SKILLMAN, NEW JERSEY, September 7, 2007
More than 24,000 jobs were added by private companies in August and overall wages increased, the Bureau of Labor Statistics
(BLS) of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today. The Employment Report, issued by the BLS monthly, gauges labor market
trends on a national basis.
“These trends are very important because they will have a positive effect on consumer spending,” said Dave Campeas, CEO of
PrincetonOne, an international recruitment organization. “While we were hoping to see overall job growth, there are still reasons
to believe that the economy will continue to expand throughout the rest of this year.”
Full details of the Employment report can be obtained by visiting the Bureau of Labor Statistics Web site at
www.bls.gov. For additional information from PrincetonOne, please contact Megan Graham at 317-352-3131.
